Artificial Intelligence is transforming every aspect of life, yet very few students in Pakistan have had the chance to learn AI where it matters most, inside the classroom.

On 20th October 2025, HigherSummit UK, through its learning platform AImySchool.org, signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with DPS IT Park Attock, in collaboration with the Deputy Commissioner Office Attock (DC Rao Atif Raza).

This partnership officially makes HigherSummit the first organisation to bring a full-year AI Literacy program to a public school in Pakistan, a milestone moment for the country’s education sector.

A Historic Step for Pakistan’s Public Schools

The signing ceremony marked a new chapter in Pakistan’s journey toward future-ready education.

With this agreement, District Public School (DPS) Attock becomes the first public-sector institution to integrate structured AI Literacy classes into its academic calendar, powered by AImySchool’s modern learning platform.

The programme will officially commence on 1 November 2025, enabling students to explore Artificial Intelligence, creativity, design thinking, and problem-solving within their regular timetable.

Bridging the Gap Between Industry and Classrooms

As AI technologies advance rapidly, the gap between industry and academia continues to widen. This initiative aims to bridge that divide by giving students early exposure to how AI works, not just how to use it.

Through AImySchool’s AI Literacy Program, the curriculum focuses on:

  • Understanding how AI models think and learn.
  • Building critical and creative skills.
  • Exploring ethical and responsible uses of AI.
  • Applying knowledge through real-world projects and showcases

Why This Partnership Matters

This collaboration between HigherSummit UK, DPS IT Park Attock, and the DC Office Attock sets an example for schools nationwide, including those in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and other major cities.

It demonstrates that AI education belongs in schools today, not someday. Students deserve to graduate fluent in the language of technology that will shape their future careers.

Voices Behind the Movement

The MOU was made possible through the vision and support of:

  • Rao Atif Raza, Deputy Commissioner Attock
  • Ahmer Mumtaz, Chairman & Founder, HigherSummit
  • Omar Afzal, Head of Products, HigherSummit
  • Muhammad Musa Mumtaz, IT Administrative DPS IT Park
  • Saad Hassan and Fizza, representing the HigherSummit team

Their combined efforts reflect a shared belief that Pakistan’s youth must be equipped with the skills to innovate, create, and lead in the age of Artificial Intelligence.

A Nationwide Vision

While DPS Attock leads the way, this initiative is only the beginning. HigherSummit and AImySchool plan to replicate this public-school model across Pakistan, starting with Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Lahore, and gradually expanding to all provinces.

Conclusion

The signing of this MOU is more than a partnership, it’s a national statement that Pakistan’s classrooms are ready to evolve.

By bringing AI Literacy directly into schools, HigherSummit and AIMySchool are building a generation of students who won’t just use AI tools, they’ll understand and shape them.
